Chief Instructor (3rd Dan)

Paul has trained in Aikido for over 12 years. His training has been directly influenced by Bernard Harding (6th Dan), Toshiro Suga  (7th Dan) and Greg Habert (5th Dan) - each of Nobuyoshi Tamura's (8th Dan) martial lineage. Paul also trains in Japanese Jujutsu and practiced Judo in his teens.

Outside of martial arts, Paul takes a keen interest in the community. As professionally qualified Youth Worker, he has been particularly focused on children's rights, equality and social justice issues in Wales. After several years as a serving as a Policy Advisor to a number of national bodies, Paul has recently taken up post as a Social Policy Lecturer.
